A Patriotic Animation

I was standing at a checkout counter and saw the whirlygigs spinning in front of the fan and thought of this tutorial.

Step 9:

You might as well lock your layer palette open, as we are going to be using it a lot here. Turn off all layers EXCEPT text1, spoke1 and background. Make sure you have one of your open layers activated and merge/merge visible.

Go to file/Save as whirlytutframe1 or some other designation of your choosing.

Step 10:

Go back to your image and hit the undo button to undo the merge. Turn off spoke 1 layer and turn on text 2 layer. Merge these open layers. File/Save as whirlytutframe2.
Undo the merge again, turn off spoke 2, turn on spoke 3 and text 3. Merge and File/Save As whirlytutframe3.
Undo the merge again, turn off spoke 3, turn on spoke 4 and text 4. Merge and File/Save As whirlytutframe4.
Undo the merge again, turn on all layers and merge. File/Save As whirlytutframe5.

Step 11:

Open animation shop. Using the animation wizard, check with same size as first image, transparent, centered in the frame, with the current color, yes to continuous animation and set the time to 30.

Now add your images beginning with whirlytutframe1 and ending with whirlyframetutframe5. Click ok, and finish and view your animation.
Step 12:

Right click on frame 5 and go to frame properties. Change the time to 60.

*I ended up changing the times on all the frames to 60 with the last frame at 200.

View your animation again and if you are happy with it now, go to file and save. Optimize to your liking.
